Surgical Procedures
Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is a cosmetic surgery that elevates droopy eyelids by removing extra fat, skin and muscle.
Facial fractures
Bones anywhere in the face may break due to a traumatic injury from a car accident, sports injury, assault or sudden fall. A break can occur anywhere along the cheeks, jaw and nose and near the eyes.
Rhinoplasty
Rhinoplasty is the surgical redevelopment of the nose, reshaping the structure of the nose.
Lipofilling
Lipofilling (fat grafting) is a popular aesthetic technique commonly used in breast surgery. Fat is taken via liposuction from one part of the body (buttocks, stomach or thighs) and converted into a refined fluid. The fluid is then injected into the breast to recreate the mound.
Cleft Lip and Palate Repair
Cleft lip and palate repair is corrective surgery done in stages on babies from 6 to 12 months. This procedure entails sealing the opening in the top part of the mouth (roof) and rearranging the surrounding muscles and palate lining.
Facelift
A facelift (rhytidectomy) is exactly as the name suggests, which involves lifting and rearranging loose facial tissue. As a result, wrinkles are ironed out, and extra skin is removed. An eye or brow lift is often done in conjunction with a facelift for the maximum benefit. In contrast, a mini facelift is a minor surgery that lifts droopy skin by making tiny incisions along the hairline. Neck lines are improved with this technique too.
Otoplasty
Otoplasty is surgery to improve the alignment, shape and size of the ears. An otoplasty can be done to improve misshapen ears as a result of a congenital abnormality or traumatic injury.
